Jazz Nights will be on hiatus for the next 12 months as we focus on other projects. Jazz Nights has been a wonderful experience with over 30 concerts, many amazing musicians, volunteers and generous support by all our sponsors and businesses.

Born and raised in West Kelowna, Zach Griffin has started to make a name for himself as an up and coming saxophone player, composer, and arranger in the Canadian jazz scene. Zach is currently in his fourth year in the Jazz Performance program at the University of Toronto where he plays lead alto in the University of Toronto Jazz Orchestra. Since moving to Toronto, he has had the opportunity to study with Canadian jazz legends and Juno award winners such as Mike Murley, Terry Promane, Kelly Jefferson and Dave Young. In addition to all of the performances through UofT, Zach performs often as a sideman and band leader in the GTA and occasionally in the Okanagan Valley. In December 2017, Zach was selected to perform as one of five finalists for the Fraser MacPherson Jazz Fund Scholarship held in Vancouver (the winner is still yet TBD). Back in Kelowna for the summer, Zach can be heard each week at the Jazz Jam held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts or on his soundcloud at
